In addition to programs offered by the Greater Southeast Affiliate, the Scientist Development Grant, Fellow-to-Faculty Transition Award and the Innovative Research Grant are available nationally.

Feb. 10, 2010 Health Sciences Fellowship applications submitted for deadline
February 2010 Applications assigned to peer review study sections and reviewers 
Late February-early March 2010 Applications to study section members 
March 2010 Study sections review applications
April 2010 Affiliate Research Committees meet and determine funding levels
May 2010 Applicants receive e-mail notifications when review outcomes are available in Grants@heart
June 1, 2010
New awards activate (Health Science Fellowship)
July 1, 2010 New awards activate (all other programs)
