Healthcare Professionals

When Lives Are at Stake…
Quality Training Makes the Difference!

The American Heart Associations’ Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) programs are comprised of healthcare professionals -- like yourself -- at various levels ranging from local to regional, state and national.  The American Heart Association and the healthcare community are key partners in the continued development and improvement of our national and international Emergency Cardiovascular Care programs.  We continue to work towards improving the science and obtaining a better understanding of the various disease processes that all healthcare providers battle.  We are committed to understanding how to develop, disseminate and implement training to support those who educate, train and certify providers and implement healthcare programs.

The American Heart Association is the recognized leader in resuscitation science and training.  The ECC program also develops, publishes and disseminates the science of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency cardiovascular care and first aid internationally.  In coordination with various national organizations, the AHA publishes guidelines and scientific statements recognized as the international standard and help to meet the needs of the communities we serve.

The overwhelming strength of the American Heart Association’s training program is  “quality.”  This is achieved through our continued support of science and research in the field of emergency cardiovascular care.

Insist on quality training from the world leader in emergency cardiovascular care -- the American Heart Association!
