Currents General Information

Currents in Emergency Cardiovascular Care is a colorful quarterly newsletter you can use to stay informed about domestic and international developments in emergency healthcare services.  Read about new ideas and initiatives.  Follow the achievements of leaders in emergency cardiovascular care.  Learn about issues affecting instructors.

Online subscribers can read each new issue on the Internet at no charge.

Register for Currents

To receive Currents email alerts, you must register with the American Heart Association Instructor Network.  Follow these steps to register:

If you do not already have an account with us:

  1. Click on "Register for the American Heart Association ECC Instructor Network"
  2. During registration, select to receive Currents e-mail notification

If you do have an account with us:

  1. Enter your username and password and "Sign In"
  2. Click "Update Profile"
  3. Change your address and contact information to subscribe to e-mail notifications
  4. Change your e-mail address or name to update your e-mail address

Not an American Heart Association instructor? You can still sign up to receive Currents e-mail alerts:

  1. Click on "Register for the American Heart Association ECC Instructor Network"
  2. During registration, you can select "I am not an American Heart Association instructor." Then to receive Currents e-mail notification, select "Please notify me via email when a new online version of Currents is available."

You can now manage your account online.  At any time, you may log in and update your e-mail address for Currents e-mail notification. 

Note: print subscriptions to Currents are no longer available.
