Program Description
This three-and-a-half day conference is a multifaceted symposium highlighting research under development in the cardiovascular community targeted at slowing and/or reversing the pathogenesis of disease. The conference will focus on how cellular-based approaches are being manipulated to enhance the repair and regeneration capabilities of the cardiovascular system with the goal of therapeutic based interventions.
Target Audience
The target audience includes basic cardiovascular scientists, molecular/cellular biologists, physiologists, translational investigators, clinical cardiologists, cardiovascular nurses, and pharmacists.
Recording Policy
Unauthorized recording of AHA scientific conferences is prohibited, whether by video, still or digital photography, audio or other recording or reproduction mechanism. This includes recording of presentations and supporting audio/visual materials and of poster presentations and supporting poster materials. The American Heart Association reserves the rights to all recordings or reproductions of presentations at AHA scientific conferences and meetings.
Exceptions to this policy of prohibition are (1) non-flash photography of the speaker and his/her presentation materials is permitted by attendees or AHA accredited reporters upon the prior written consent of the AHA and of the speaker; (2) other photography and videotaping by AHA accredited reporters is permitted if not disruptive; (3) audiotape recording for strictly personal and non-commercial use is permitted if not disruptive; and (4) exhibitors may photograph their own booth for their own promotional purposes with prior written consent of the AHA.
Please be aware that during the 4th Annual Symposium of the American Heart Association Council on Basic Cardiovascular Sciences, attendees, vendors and guests may be photographed and videotaped by AHA vendors. Some of these photographs or videos may be displayed by the AHA in future publications or materials connected with the event. If you do not wish for your image to be displayed by the AHA, please contact the AHA in writing at the address below no later than Aug. 17, 2007.
