A Dear Colleague letter signed by 72 Representatives circulated by the Congressional Heart and Stroke Coalition House Co-chairs Representatives Lois Capps (D-CA) and Charles Pickering (R-MS).  The letter asks the House Labor-HHS-Education Appropriations Subcommittee to "provide significant funding increases for heart disease and stroke research, prevention, and treatment programs during the FY 2008 appropriations process."
