A Dear Colleague letter signed by 38 Senators circulated by the Congressional Heart and Stroke Coalition Senate Co-chairs Senators Byron Dorgan (D-ND) and Mike Crapo (R-ID).  The letter asks the Senate Labor-HHS-Education Appropriations Subcommittee to "provide significant funding increases for heart disease and stroke research, prevention, and treatment programs during the FY 2008 appropriations process."
