Strength and Stretching Activity Illustrations

Health experts recommend rounding out your physical activity routine with regular strengthening and flexibility activities. Do these two to three times per week along with aerobic activity such as walking, jogging or swimming at least 30 minutes per day most (preferably all) days. While aerobic activities improve the efficiency of the heart muscle, strength-building activities keep other muscles of the body in good condition and help your sense of balance. Regular stretching can help keep your muscles flexible.
