For Individuals

  • Take the Active Lifestyle Pledge!   Get on the road to personal fitness by signing a personal pledge to start walking and leading a healthier life.
  • Join MyStart! Online. Now that you have committed to taking steps to improve your heart health, get the tools, information and resources you need to make it happen.
  • Start! Eating Right – Though becoming fit takes you in the right direction against heart disease, eating right creates the balance you need for an overall heart-healthy lifestyle. Use our tools to eat right.
  • Encourage your company to use the Start! Walking Program.
  • Nominate someone for the Lifestyle Change Award. Did you or someone you know make significant changes for better health?   This person may deserve the Lifestyle Change Award!  

For Companies

  • Get the free Start! Walking Coordinator Resource Kit and help your employees start living healthier, happier lives.
  • Apply to be a Start! Fit-Friendly Company.   Would you like to be recognized for your efforts in being a fit-friendly company?  Learn moreabout what it takes to join a select group of employers who are going the extra mile to improve the health of their employees.
  • Create a company walking team for the Start! Heart & Stroke Walk. Whether you are a Company Leader or Team Captain, we will help you and your employees with their fundraising efforts through one-on-one coaching and printed materials while they take steps toward their own heart health.
