Opportunities for Early Career Investigators:

Join the Council on Epidemiology and Prevention and the Council on Nutrition, Physical Activity and Metabolism for a unique dual conference at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla. The two conferences will overlap on March 11 and 12, when programs of interest to both councils will be presented.

Information for Presenters

Intended Audience
Both conferences benefit physicians, dietitians, nutritional scientists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurses, school health professionals and other health scientists.  The Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention Conference will also appeal to epidemiologists and biostatisticians.  The Nutrition, Physical Activity and Metabolism Conference will also focus on work done by molecular and basic researchers.

Transportation
The resort is located just 20 miles from the Tampa International Airport, which is directly accessed by many of the major airlines.  The AHA has arranged discounted rates for transportation to and from the Tampa International Airport and the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club through SuperShuttle.
